"The Banquet": Elevating film and advertising with a roster of award-winning directors, striking visuals, and a commitment to originality, passion, and quality, all wrapped in a touch of fun. Welcome to a new era of creativity.
Signing New Directors:
We're always on the lookout for new and emerging talent and we believe in finding unrepresented voices from diverse backgrounds. We currently represent seven fantastic directors, all specialising in different areas of film and TV production, but we don't believe in exclusivity and we encourage our directors to work as much as possible with other agencies and companies and across as many different platforms as they can. We are also keen to meet and collaborate with independent directors. Our only rule is that you must enjoy what you do and bring that same enjoyment to set.
We are open to working with Freelance directors.
Diversity Leadership:
As Shiny members, we are supporting free entries for Shiny’s education & training partners (Mama Youth, Brixton Finishing School, Creative Mentor Network, LSA, ELAM and universities & colleges worldwide).
Also as we are on the jury panel for the Shiny awards, we donate prizes to support new & diverse filmmakers.
Who should directors contact?
Please send all enquiries to info@thebanquet.co.uk. We really endeavour to look at all work we receive and to reply as quickly as possible.
For New Directors:
We are more than happy to offer advice and support to aspiring directors either in-person or over zoom. We can help develop personal projects and we can offer advice, both creatively and from a career perspective. We are also happy for aspiring directors to join us on set to shadow one of our established directors and to involve them in the pre-production process where possible.
