Girl&Bear

How do you describe your company?

Global content creation studio, including production company in-house.

What's attractive about your company from a new director's point of view?

We consistently have exciting scripts - both little and large budget, and are always on the look out for fresh talent. We have a huge black book of directors both independent and signed that bring to life ideas to our over 200 brands. There is something for everyone at Girl & Bear / VCCP.

Do you have diversity initiatives at your company, what are they?

At VCCP & Girl & Bear - challenging the status quo isn’t just something we talk about—it’s the heartbeat of our creativity, culture, and approach to Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion (DEA&I). For us, DEA&I goes beyond corporate responsibility; it’s who we are. Four years ago, we launched the DEA&I Collective—a passionate group from every corner of VCCP, united by one goal: making our agency a place where everyone truly belongs. Over the past year, the Collective has rolled out targeted training across departments, from Inclusive Language workshops to Mental Health for Managers. Our employee engagement survey, boasts an NPS of 7.7—not bad, but we’re aiming even higher. We have a 1 in 3 policy, that ensures 1 in 3 talent on set is from a diverse / underrepprested background.
