What kind of work do you do?
DOGEATDOG is an independent, creative production studio. Though our roots lie in film and photography, we believe the best ideas live across platforms, so we represent talent spanning disciplines and media. We like making good work, whatever form that takes.
Why should new directors in particular be interested in your company?
At our core, we are dedicated to representing emerging and diverse talent. We are always looking to sign exciting new directors to our roster and are passionate about nurturing and promoting up-and-coming talent.
Diversity Leadership:
We are proud to have a diverse roster of directors, and are always looking to find ways to increase representation. We also have a diverse production team supporting our directors, to ensure all voices are listened to and respected.
As Shiny members, we are supporting free entries for Shiny’s education & training partners (Mama Youth, Brixton Finishing School, Creative Mentor Network, LSA, ELAM and universities & colleges worldwide).
Also as we are on the jury panel for the Shiny awards, we donate prizes to support new & diverse filmmakers.

Staff keen to connect with new talent
Natalia Maus, the award-winning leader steering the helm of the Music Video department at DOGEATDOG, has a passion for innovation and a keen eye for talent. She brings a wealth of experience, having previously worked as a highly-regarded commissioner at Island Records, then going freelance and working with independent labels, gaining a reputation for spotting rising talent. She epitomizes creativity and a boundary-pushing ethos.
She has nurtured talents such as Juliet Casella, Jade O’Belle, and Tom Furse, the latter of whom is gaining notable recognition for his pioneering work as an AI director. Natalia is also part of the recently launched APA AI task force, set up to lead the industry on AI technology and industry policy.
Notably, Natalia is a recurring judge at the UKMVAs. She has been invited back year after year to lend her expertise and help determine the deserving winners in each category.
